What Does Trump Have in Common with Serial Killers?

Understanding the Nodes and their relationship to past-lives and shadow work

Delusion, illusion, and serious mental illness show up in people’s natal charts. Sometimes, it is just potential that is activated. For others, it is part of their karmic path—a holdover from past lives miss-lived, a product of choices that devolved them. I present three such cases here—people who carry a signature of repeated shadow choices from many lifetimes that bleed into the current one.

I spent nearly two years looking extensively at murderers and serial killers charts for a podcast I co-hosted called “Psychics and Psychos.” In addition to the cases we talked about on the show, I looked at hundreds of murderer charts looking for patterns. In astrology, there is nothing like the pattern that became clear in the case of those who chose the dark path. Astrology is a nuanced art where, like a stew, many combinations will add up to something that resembles something else. A personality disorder will have certain features; narcissists tend to have strong trauma signatures with signs of overcompensation. This can be accomplished (astrologically) in many ways and many combinations. ADD/ADHD has a signature, as does autism. How much it affects, the individual and/or if that signature is read as neurodiversity or something else is an art and a deep understanding of rulerships and placements in the natal chart. The same is true with the shadow bleed-through we are going to examine.

The nodes play a huge role in evaluating mental health, as seen in the natal chart. Why? This question arose when I first read the Vedic interpretation of nodal conjunctions implying mental health issues. The Western astrologers I studied with didn’t place much importance on the nodes. They were a bit of an afterthought. Their explanation of them was simple, “The North Node represents where you’re headed in this life, and the South Node is where you came from.” While this is true, it’s very, very basic and not at all helpful.
