Verbal Valium: A Recap of Assurance for this Anxiety Producing Election

If you’re on edge, feeling the fingers of darkness licking at your reality, you’re not alone. Anyone with compassion and wisdom who can rub a couple of brain cells together is worried. The polls look close, maddeningly so. But let’s break this down into what is truly happening.

1. Thousands of psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals say Trump is a malignant narcissist. What does that mean? In common parlance, we know the diagnosis as psychopath or sociopath. But the DSM (the manual mental health professionals use to diagnose mental health conditions) has long been rid of those terms. There is a political pact called psychopac.org. A group of mental health professionals are running ads telling the American people about Trump’s diagnosis. I’ve seen them here in TN.

2. Psychopaths/Malignant Narcissists are abusive master manipulators. Trump is manipulating the polls. This is a fact. People have come forward (Michael Cohen and others) informing us of this. Why? Because Trump doesn’t care about the truth. He knows that people like to pick a winner. He also knows that if he loses (which he will), he can use these trumped-up polls to prove cheating.
