Tsunami of Mud

Remember that dream where I was trying to outrun a tsunami of mud with my family, and we jumped into a coffin on wheels? Well, here we are. So much shit is coming at us so fast that we can’t even see what’s chasing us. So here’s a recap so far.

1. The head of the FAA was fired, and air traffic controllers were offered buyouts to leave their jobs.

   1. A massive airplane and helicopter crash happened over the Potomac on January 28, 2025—Snake Lunar New Year’s Day—the deadliest in 24 years—67 dead.

   2. A medivac airplane with a full tank of gas crash lands into a Philadelphia neighborhood, creating a massive explosion—killing 6—raining firey debris over homes and commercial property and starting a giant fire.

2. Trump eviscerates our public health systems.

   1. Takes the USA out of WHO.

   2. Muzzles the CDC.

3. Trump tries to stop all federal funding.

   1. After major pushback, he lies about it and says he’s only defunding DEI programs.

   2. But program money is frozen for teen homeless shelters and women’s shelters.

4. Elon Musk and his “team” invade the treasury department.

   1. Musk wants control of the financial apparatus that pays out social security, section 8 housing, SNAP, and all appropriated money promised by Congress.

   2. When Musk, the head of this system, David Lebryk, asked why Musk needed control over this very sensitive system, which only a handful of people interact with, he was told he would be placed on administrative leave.

   3. David Lebryk resigns, punctuating fears that Musk wanted to control it for nefarious purposes.

5. Trump eviscerates the Department of Justice.

   1. Trump lets out all J-6 criminals, including the hard-core, violent offenders, in one sweeping pardon.

   2. Trump erased all the investigations related to J-6.

   3. Trump fires anyone involved in prosecuting, arresting, or even handling evidence. Anybody who had anything to do with arresting, indicting, or prosecuting the J-6 criminals is fired.

   4. Trump released the names of everyone in the Justice Department and the FBI who was involved in the investigation and prosecution of the J-6 criminals—knowing that at least one of the J-6 criminals attempted to murder several FBI agents who were investigating him.

6. Trump announces his intentions to eliminate the FDIC. Federal banking insurance that pays individuals out if a bank goes under.

7. Trump implements deportation.

   1. Flies a military jet loaded with immigrants into protected Mexican airspace. Mexico doesn’t allow it to land (which is standard practice for uncleared military airplanes).

   2. Trump announces immigrants will be taken to Guantanamo Bay.

8. Trump announced tariffs against our allies Mexico, Canada, and China effective at 12:01 AM February 1, 2025.
