There is so much to the nodes. They are like a black hole in the natal chart, warping space/time from this life to the many that have gone before. The nodes are not the only markers of past lives; the Moon, Pluto, and the aspects of the chart all tell a story about what you did and who you were, but the nodes give us keys to things that need to be completed, understood and faced in order to level up in this and future lifetimes.
The last post barely scratched the surface; even this one will give you a rough idea. Look at your natal node placement and augment the last article about the nodes with the placement I have delineated here.
1st house North Node - 7th house South Node: Fear or issues with or about being alone, being selfish, asserting oneself, taking the lead, and putting oneself out there. The first house is about appearance, physical appearance, how the person comes across at the first meeting, defense mechanisms, and how the personality meets the outer world. If the North Node is in the 1st, the South Node will be in the 7th. The fear represented by the North Node will act out in the 7th house through the issues, area of life, and people represented by that house. So, the person will avoid the fear of being alone by being in relationships and partnerships and close to others (7th house). They will avoid the fear of being selfish by putting their energy into other people (7th house). They will feel more comfortable letting others lead, being in a relationship, and being a peacemaker.
1st house South Node - 7th house North Node: Fear of relationships and commitment, relationships will have karmic significance, relationships will be necessary for spiritual growth, and relationships will be karmic. These people may avoid getting married or being close to others. Often, this will change due to significant relationships that will transform and challenge them.
