This is the current map of the LA Fires. The red areas indicate where the wildfires have spread. I lived in Burbank for 17 years, currently sandwiched between the two wildfires. If you’ve never lived in Southern California, you likely don’t know what the Santa Ana winds are. I don’t know what causes them, but they are a phenomenon unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. They are felt throughout all of Southern California.
