On June 11th, I dreamt about being in the Central Valley of California. There was chaos, and long story short, I was in a car halfway in a building and halfway outside. I opened the door and saw a small white owl. It was dead. I knew it had died of bird flu.
This was one of those vivid astral plane dreams where there were dozens of people I didn’t know, but mixed in with the people were family members. Since last spring, I’ve noticed a dream trend. All the dreams are with groups of people I don’t know in waking life. This, I’ve come to realize, is a metaphor for all of humanity. The dreams are always collective experience dreams.
The symbolism is clear: These collective dreams are things we are and will all experience as a human family. In my dreams, owls come as a warning of something negative but also transformative. White is the color of spirit. When one sees a white (albino) animal in nature, it is significant and indicates that special attention should be paid, as this is a message directly from the spirit.
