People keep saying they don’t understand why Trump would imply that little girls could get two dolls for Christmas instead of thirty. Here’s a clue…. he’s a misogynist. He didn’t say kids could get two cars instead of thirty. This is what one would call a “Freudian slip.” Maybe not technically, technically it’s more what he does anytime he talks about his daughter, Ivanka. Or maybe not even then, because he’s openly admitting wanting to make sweet deformed mushroom love to her (yes, this is a reference to Stormy Daniels).
I get it, his mommy didn’t love him enough, and so he has a psychosexual thing about women, he wants them, he needs attention from them, but he resents them. He love/hates women. Let’s not pretend that his expectation that the American public will need to sacrifice is put squarely on the shoulders of little girls. Little girls are secondary, unimportant, and who cares if a little girl gets less? She already does, unless she’s a princess like Ivanka. But even then, it’s fine to deny her because by the very nature of being female, she is less than.
The misogynistic stance is that women shouldn’t be able to control their bodies; they are mere vessels for the seed of men. Women don’t need to vote, have their autonomy over their finances, their life, or their bodies. We all knew Trump was a misogynist and a racist, but he can’t help but remind us daily just what a pig he is. His snout was showing during the interview with Kristin Welker.
Freud talked about ‘Penis Envy,” the envy women have for male privilege and power. We’ve all seen women like this, women who operate like the black man who turns in the runaway slave for a few dollars. Women who align themselves with male power to oppress other women, like Karoline Leavitt and Pam Bondi, or any woman who makes their living or supports people who make it their business to oppress and control women. This includes the Catholic church, and most iterations of Christianity and Islam.
Most modern religions are guilty of this as they have evolved into control systems that reiterate the patriarchal power structure.
