I remember, as a young person, people used to say, “I don’t vote because politicians are all the same. It doesn’t affect me. I argued that not only were they wrong about politicians being all the same, but the policies of Washington directly impacted their lives. Never has a political figure or time made my point better than Trump. His hate and spewing of evil sewage into the collective consciousness has poisoned the minds of half the population and traumatized the other half. I hadn’t smoked in 30 years, but when Trump became president, I was so anxious I started again. I quit again after about six months, but I worried about what was coming. It was either that or start drinking, which I can’t do, so smoking it was. I told my doctor about it, and she said I wasn’t alone. A lot of people were stressed out, had started smoking again, and/or were in need of anti-anxiety medication because of Trump.
