So, remember what I said yesterday about waking up on Monday with a feeling that something terrible would happen? Besides the blackout in Southern Europe, Trump signed a very scary Executive Order. It is called "Strengthening and Unleashing America's Law Enforcement to Pursue Criminals and Protect Innocent Citizens." On the face of it, it sounds like something Zoolander would bark out if he were president. But it is basically the gateway to fascism. This order has gone largely unreported. It is, however, the very thing people were fearing. It expands the reach of ICE, enabling his brown shirts to smash their way into Trump's enemies' homes and arrest them.
