I’ve looked at plenty of serial killers and murderers’ charts. There are clear similarities, but what about dictators? We know that they share a personality disorder, known as malignant narcissism. It is a mix of sadism, narcissism, and antisocial personality disorder. Dicators don’t do the killing themselves; they inspire others to acts of hatred, bigotry, and destruction. Because it is a more complex psychological issue, the signifiers will be as complex as the men themselves.
Let’s start with the ultimate dictator, Hitler…
The Moon/Jupiter and South Nodes are all in Capricorn; this is very much a serial killer configuration. A man who isn’t just cold, ambitious, and shut down, but significantly so. Jupiter exaggerates the cold, harsh moon, and the South Node shows a pattern of acting from ambition, harshness, and calculated self-interest in many lifetimes. He was naturally judgmental, mean-spirited, and harsh. The South Node conjunction also conveys mental illness. Hitler was relatively unique among dictators as a man who was likely more than just a malignant narcissist. He was also delusional. A person many scoffed at as “crazy.” He rose to leadership during a financial disaster and found a way to blame it on the “Jews.” He focused his envy and ambition toward the destruction of a people because he saw them as Mongol financial overlords who needed to be abolished so the purity of his fantasy Arians could become the Uber race. His concocted religion, national identity, and mythology were invented entirely in his imagination. This false past, which he sold to the desperate population of Germany, looking for a way to climb out of their shame over the First World War, likely would have been buried alongside his body had he not been at the right place at the right time.
Hitler also had three planets in Taurus: the Sun and Venus conjunct Mars, which indicates that love and violence were intertwined in his mind. His Taurus planets are trine his Capricorn Moon/SN/Jupiter conjunction, feeding into his harsh childhood. The Capricorn configuration is also his mother, who may have had mental health issues of her own. Despite his harsh, cold, and violent family dynamic, she was his protector. Aquarius (Libra Uranus in the 12th) rules his 4th house, speaking to his father’s irratic brutality to him and his mother. This abuse was a huge part of his psychological makeup. Uranus in the 12th inconjunct Venus/Mars speaks to unusual and unrequited love and attraction. We know he coveted his niece and was in love with a woman he saw on the streets, whom he had a fantasy relationship built up around.
I’ve found that NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) is characterized in natal charts by vigorous Uranian activity. This may seem counterintuitive. Uranus is the natural ruler of Aquarius, associated with the milk of human kindness. But Uranus has a deeply malefic side. It represents neglect, dissociation, rebellion,
