Defiance A New Day - Turning Point

I decided it was essential to let you see the pieces I’m seeing in this series of articles because I’m taking what will feel to you like a giant leap. Remember, I’m the same person who said in the summer of 2020 that Biden would win, but things wouldn’t go back to normal, and Trump and/or Trumpism would come back in a worse way in 2024/2025. I also predicted the invasion of Ukraine six months before troops were seen gathering on its border and said that the Ukrainians wouldn’t give up. It would be Putin’s Vietnam, and by that, I meant the Russian people wouldn’t want to fight. The war would go on for a long time, deplete Russia, and become a thorn in Russia’s side.

So far, that has been accurate. But I also worry that because Putin is incapable of looking weak, he will go too far and use a tactical nuclear weapon. Now that Trump is president, I’m more worried about that as a possibility for Putin to “win” the war. It has also been my feeling that, eventually, Ukraine would lead to a broader European war and that what was happening in Israel would widen out. I feel those two conflicts will ultimately merge into a bigger world war but not in the near future. In the not-too-distant future. All of this will be the subject of my next series, but I’m focused on what’s happening here in the US for now.
